ARCA-CTS Cashpro CM18 Cash Recycler Certified with CFM S4 Software Interface

Cash Flow Management (CFM) and ARCA - CTS Cashpro announced today the certification of the CM 18, the latest ARCA teller cash recycler, into the CFM S4 platform. This follows the integration of the other ARCA cash automation solutions, which are deployed in thousands of financial branches and retail stores throughout North America.

MEBANE, NC. December 20, 2010– Cash Flow Management (CFM) and ARCA - CTS Cashpro announced today the certification of the CM 18, the latest ARCA teller cash recycler, into the CFM S4 platform.  This follows the integration of the other ARCA cash automation solutions, which are deployed in thousands of financial branches and retail stores throughout North America.

CFM S4 is a state-of-the-art and comprehensive cash management platform developed by a multi-discipline development team.  The solution allows for the integration of different financial core processing platforms with multiple manufactures.  This eliminates the cumbersome programming and device management that has traditionally shown to be a development hurdle to full integration.

As a result of this certification, all the financial institutions and retailers currently using the CFM S4 platform can now operate immediately and seamlessly the CM18 cash recycler, with no impact to their applications.
The CM18 is an innovative teller cash recycler with advanced features / functions that allow a revolutionary approach to the cash management function of a financial institution or retailer.

Among these:

  • Ergonomic design, easy and quick operability to guarantee a high degree of productivity and safety
  • Built-in intelligence to communicate with remote cash management systems and optimize the overall cash-supply chain
  • Multi-output cash slots for quick offline sorting and fitness
  • Multi-media screen display for easy access to the unit’s functions
  • Reduced dimensions, enhanced capacity, and small service area

“CFM S4 solves the heavy lifting inherent to integration.  All the core applications we have been involved with are experiencing large reductions in their integration costs.  As an example, Symitar (one of the largest and a leading core provider in the US) cut their budgeted hours for recycler integration by 93%, and are planning a release to their credit union users by  December 2010.  CFM is excited to bring a tangible display of true cash automation integration delivered by the only zero footprint solution of its kind in the world.” said John Dillon, CFM Inc. Principal.

Aubrey Meador, executive vice president, ARCA, underlines that “the integration of our latest offering into the CFM platform allows all the CFM customers to take full advantage of the next generation features – functions we built into the CM18.  Banks and Credit Unions will be in condition to renew and improve the cash management processes in their branches and back offices.”

“The CM18 design philosophy and hardware design marry very well with the architecture of the CFM S4 platform.  We will be able to extend the values of the zero-footprint approach by having part of the CFM application run on the Windows CPU embedded in the CM18.” said Enrico Bocchiardi, vice president of North America operations.  “This will bring reliability and availability of the cash management solutions to a level never seen before in the financial industry”.
