Position Title: Production, Level II

Department: Production

Reports To: Production Manager

Location: Mebane, North Carolina

Summary

Level II Production associates will be responsible for one or more activities of manufacture and production. Associate must be able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal, and follow said instructions. Associate must complete work with accuracy and efficiency and work effectively as part of a team. Associate must be knowledgeable of the manufacturing production process, and capable of applying the knowledge of processes and production methods. Assist Production Lead in assuring that other production associates are trained in current work methods and procedures. Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines. Should have good written and verbal communication skills and be committed to a team based work environment.

Required Competencies and Abilities

  • Must be able to solder either SMT or thru hole
  • Will be responsible for assembly and test of instruments including wiring harnesses, building cables, testing and troubleshooting, soldering, and sheet metal assembly.
  • Must have a knowledge of arithmetic and geometry, and their applications.
  • Should have the ability to operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.
  • Will record information such as the number of products tested, meter readings, and dates and times of product production.
  • Certified to operate Forklifts.
  • Familiar with Handtruck operation
  • Understands safety requirements when using material-hoisting slings
  • Has the ability to perform basic testing and troubleshooting
  • Has a minimum of one year’s experience as an electro-mechanical assembler
  • Must be able to work overtime when asked
  • Has the ability to interpret and follow assembly drawings, parts lists, written work instructions and other process documentation in a production environment.
  • Is knowledgeable in the use of and able to use mechanical and electrical measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters.

Position Title: Technical Services Support

Department: Technical Services

Reports To: Technical Services Manager

Location: Mebane, North Carolina

Summary

Provide direction, communication and coordination in support of the Director of Technical Services, Sales Management, and Distributors in the assigned territory. Resolve technical issues and improve the quality of ArcaTech support services throughout the assigned territory.

Raise the satisfaction levels of our customers by providing them with dedicated technical resources and timely problem resolution.

Train and certify Customer Service Engineers and analyze product performance throughout the region in an ongoing effort to improve the quality of ArcaTech services and assist Customer in achieving its goals.

Required Competencies and Abilities

  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
  • Ability to repair machines or systems using the needed tools.

Position Title: Sales Support

Summary

Key responsibilities include the support of sales and marketing related activities. Position Title: Receptionist

Department: Customer Service

Reports To: Customer Service Director

Summary

The key responsibilities of this position will be to greet visitors, answer and route incoming calls, handle inquiries from the public, provide information related to the company, and perform general administrative duties. This position will also assist other administrative staff with overflow work, including word processing, e-mails, filing, data entry, and internet research tasks.

This position requires a commitment to providing ‘world class’ customer support, making a good first impression; being friendly, professional, and helpful to the visitors.

Position Title: Accounting Clerk, AP and AR

Department: Finance

Reports To: Brian Boffo

Summary

Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.

Required Competencies and Abilities

  • Ability to check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
  • Ability to operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.
  • Ability to comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software.
